From Ancient Roots to Contemporary Expressions : Who am I : Why Nature?  Why Art?   Art has been a lifelong process, a journey,  presence and observation with connection, art is a powerful force as nature is,  as the above song, it is about connection, an energetic field of consciousness that exists in nature, how do we really relate to environment, what is beauty and what is it's contrast, it is a mystery, it involves respect,  it involves power,  every experience of every Artist is different, unique as a fingerprint as a snowflake, that melts ,a connection expressed. A connection in our experience of life and with each other and with the material world that is sourced from nature in our evolution through out time. The elements are powerful water, wind, earth, fire. Our evolution over Art History and expression of the present in different movements, periods of History and in the present moment.

I also earned this title over many years, what does it mean?  it has been in my DNA and family history, My Mom  was an Artist,  Nature really took over, it is a teacher about imperfection, adapting and change. Nature is ever changing climate change has been with us for millions of years. It is the feeling of experiencing nature and what the experience signifies to us as to the individual identity is a part of.  It's about connecting with something ancient and fundamental, to the cycles and patterns of life and death and being in the moment, something that feels even more important, increasingly necessary in our fast-paced, digital lives.

Nature silently takes over, we are a part of it, so really, it is more than an expression of our existence in a particular era. Our drive to create is as natural as breathing ,eating and sleeping even you know. Art can be an expression of our environment and our imaginations it is about connection.

Arts the extended branches of the tree

Alex Colville  a Canadian" conservative rebel ,"is very special to me as I continue to grow on the legacy of Canadian art and international art with the Colville family tree, dna,  legacy the responsibility that comes with this name and legacy. I have made common sense, of most of this era,  tranquility, calm work in all of the chaos, uncertainty,  global social engineering of the masses in present day his work is ever present.

Jock Colville was to Winston Churchill at Chartwell transformed himself into an orange marmalade cat at Chartwell, I hope to meet" Jock the cat" at Chartwell one day in residency in England.
