Osoyoos Canada's only desert. Situated in the deepest dry belt that is the southern Okanagan region of British Columbia, the town of Osoyoos is home to Canada’s only desert — and the country’s “warmest welcome.” The dry parched parts of Osoyoos, though located at the northernmost tip of the Sonoran Desert that extends all the way from Mexico. Osoyoos desert is an endangered ecosystem that is home to one of the highest concentrations of at-risk species in Canada, this is what inspired to keep on creating Canada's unique landscapes.
